Sometimes the Army is totally FUBAR! Shit like hot-dogging officers whose main goal in life seems to be kissing ass always annoys me and there's at least one at every post. And no one needs to tell me to "CYA" because I'm not referring to any HMFIC in particular. I just hate people who seem to think RHIP and ignore the efforts of grunts whose job it is to leave the FOB every day to patrol in an AO where IEDs and RPGs are a constant threat or the sergeants who go out their way to take care of their soldiers or the guys in the office doing all their paperwork for them. FTA! What the hell does an AAM or an ARCOM or a CIB mean to a guy who gets fucked in the ass by his own CoC on a daily basis, especially when that CoC is walking away with awards that they did nothing to fucking even be put in for?? Oh, that's right--jack and shit: that's what it means. (OK, maybe I'm still a little bitter about our time at Jackson. . . )

And then there is OPSEC. The constant berating going on to ensure wives are not posting on FB anything that could compromise security, but then feel it’s OK to makes posts to PUBLIC pages that anyone else would have to take down PDQ. There's a group of ladies who have dubbed ourselves the FB MPs and check for OPSEC violations, but you can't really go to anyone and say that someone in authority's brains are SPFO. I guess it's a case of HUOA or they think no one will notice or NBC, but again, RHIP so I say nothing. Can a wife get a case of PTSD?? I may need to use that as an excuse. . .

It never ends. Different post, same assholes. . . Maybe we'll luck out and the bastards who act like this will deploy and end up LLMF and MIA, but I doubt it. I just hope those fuckers don't think that I'm going to develop a bad case of CRS and kiss their asses. Until there is a group of officers that is worth a damn and you can be proud to serve under them, I guess things will be SNAFUed! And in the meantime the word of the day is BOHICA!
